Repointing tile roofs

Repointing tile roofs is a common roof maintenance task as the original pointing deteriorates with age. Flexible Pointing is applied to the ridge capping after cementing them down and the cement mix has been allowed to set.

Flexible Pointing is an Adhesive Mechanical Fastener for ridge caps manufactured and applied in accordance with Australian Standard : AS4046.8-2015.
It has a very strong bonding ability between roof tiles and ridge caps, as well as being able to flex with normal roof movement without cracking and breaking away. It has also been passed for Cyclonic Conditions C3.
